Dr. McManus and his wife, Debbie, have been happily married for 30 years and have one son, Trent. In his free time, Dr. McManus enjoys spending quality time with his family and embracing the outdoors. Whether hiking, fishing, or enjoying time with his loved ones, Dr. McManus believes in maintaining a healthy balance between his professional commitments and his personal life.
A native of Mobile, AL, Dr. McManus attended St. Paul's Episcopal School, graduating in 1982. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Birmingham-Southern College in 1986 and his D.M.D. from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 1993. During his time at dental school, Dr. McManus was the Salutatorian of his class, which speaks to his dedication to academic excellence. He completed a two-year residency in endodontics to enhance his expertise in root canals and other endodontic procedures.
While in dental school, Dr. McManus received numerous awards for his academic excellence, including the Endodontics Award, Periodontics Award, and Oral Pathology Award. He was also inducted into the OKU National Dental Honor Society for his outstanding achievements. Dr. McManus's dedication to the field of oral health has earned him recognition as one of the top-ranking endodontists in the Mobile Bay and Alabama Gulf area, providing patients with reliable, precise care. His commitment to ongoing learning and advancing his skills ensures that he stays at the forefront of dental technology and techniques.
Dr. McManus is an active member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Endodontists, and the Alabama Dental Association. As a former president of the Baldwin County Dental Study Club, he continues to engage with other dental professionals to maintain high standards of care. Dr. McManus is also honored to serve disabled veterans through the Hero's Program, offering his time and experience to those who have served our country. With a focus on patient comfort and comprehensive care, he works closely with referring dentists to ensure seamless treatment planning for every patient.

They set appointment date which was two weeks later. I asked to call me if they had a cancellation and they did. I was seen on 1/19/22 which was only a few days after the initial call.
